BAB Commands

  BAB has 4 command-groups and 1 text-area.

  (A) File operations and picture processing.
  (B) Showing animation.
  (C) Sequence time adjuster.
  (D) Prop constructor.
  (E) Text-area.

(A) File operations and picture processing

[ BAT ] – Start BAT

  - Command to start BAT automatically in BAB-mode.
  - After the gmax-exports, BAB processes BAT-pictures for BAB-animation.
BAB makes a folder (named by gmax-model name) and stores BAB-animation in it.

[ Load ] – Load animation

  - Tool to Load a BAB-animation.
  - In the [ Load ] dialog there are other commands for the file operations.

[ MAP ]

  - In some cases of Large size animation, gmax exports pictures in wrong order.
[ MAP ] dialog is a tool to correct this wrong order.
IF I could find the way to take out the order from SC4model-file, [ MAP ]-command
    would be removed.

[ Trim ]

  - Command to cut out pictures under selected size ( 124x124 or 248x248).
  - If you need to remain untrimmed BAB-animation, go to [ Load ] dialog and copy
    the BAB-animation (folder).
  - Prop construction [ Make DAT ] is enabled after [ Trim ] is done.

[ Max.Size ]

  - Command to determine the animation size.
  - Check this setting before you do [ Trim ].

(B) Showing animation

[ PLAY ]

  - Command to play BAB-animation.
  - When you use Sequence-time-adjuster, this tool is worked as frame selector.

[ Speed ]

  - Command to change playing speed.
  - This [ Speed ] is not real SC4-speed. Compare the both and adjust them in your brain.

[ Size ]

  - Command to change the animation-size in the animation window.

[ Show ]

  - Command to change view of gday or nighth and gcolor settingsh.
  - gBlendedh is simple gORh overlay.
If you use thin alpha, gBlendedh will show the animation with wrong color.

[ Zoom ]

  - Command to select zoom-level of the animation window.
  - Zoom 1 and 2 are shown but no means.

[ View Point ]

  - Command to select view-point of the animation window.
  - gRotate a building to easth means gRotate a view-point to westh for the SC4-animation.
Buildingfs rotation is gS-W-N-Eh (clockwise) but Animationfs rotation is gS-E-N-Wh (c.c.).

(C) Sequence time adjuster

  - Command to change the number of frames.
  - It is almost used to delete odd frames.
  - If you change the number of frames, do [ Trim ] to save the BAB-animation.

(D) Prop constructor

[ Options ]

  - Tool to set prop-options.
  - gDay and Nighth selection is effects to prop number.
  - Other settings are saved in propsf exemplar as properties

  - gProp and frame counterh notices you how many props are to be made and how many
frames are composed in one prop.
Max. is maximum-frame-number of the animation.
Frame number / 10 (fps) = play time (sec.).

  - A single-shot animation (non looping animation) is not complete now.
It may be needed to use Effect-script.

[ Make DAT ]

  - Command to construct SC4-animation by processing BAB-animation.
  - 1 to 8 props are made and composed in one DAT-file.
  - The number of props are variable by night-scene, animation-size and real picture-size.

(E) Text Area

  - gModel Nameh is changeable, but do not use neither g-g nor g_h in the name.
  - gGroup IDh is changeable.
  - gInstance IDh is changeable but
last 4 digits are must be kept "0000".
GID is taken from SC4Model-file and IID is randomly set a
t the first export of the model.
When the gmax-model is exported again, IDs are to be taken over from it's last export.
While IDs are not changed, you don't need to set the animated-props on the LotEditor
again and again after each re-export of gmax.
